My own yoga Journey began almost 25 years ago. I used my yoga practice as a coping mechanism to deal with a young family and the pressures of everyday life!. 25 years later, my yoga is still my coping mechanism, my go to, my life!
I stumbled on my 1st Dru Yoga class 10 years ago. I was diagnosed with Crohns disease. I needed a bit of me time, ease my aching joints, and to learn how to relax! And to begin to repair my body from the inside out. The benefits I have found both to my physical body, emotional body and energetic body have given me the strength to overcome many challenges I have faced over the years. I embarked on the international Dru Yoga teacher training course in 2018 and I am now a fully qualified Dru Yoga teacher. It has been the best decision I have ever made. I’ve been on a roller coaster journey of self-discovery, overcoming obstacles and realising how resilient I am. A journey that has helped me to find my inner light and my true vocation in life.
