Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be flexible to start your yoga class
No, you don’t have to be flexible to enjoy my classes. I teach everything in stages so that everybody can find a level that suits them. I encourage everybody to listen to the body and breath during the classes and to only move in a way that is comfortable for them.
I have never done yoga. Am I too old to start
No, you are never too old to start yoga. The classes are accessible to all ages and you are encouraged to move in a way that is comfortable for you. My classes are very diverse in ages and abilities and are designed to ensure that everybody can achieve the poses and sequences in a way that works for them.
What do I need to bring?
A yoga mat, you can also bring a block, strap or bolster if you have these, anything that you need for your practice. A cushion and blanket to make yourself comfortable for the relaxation and a bottle drink. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any equipment at this moment in time.
What should I wear?
Leggings or jogging bottoms with a comfortable top are perfect. Layers are advisable. Your body temperature will go down when you lay down for the relaxation so make sure that you have an extra layer or a blanket if you want to be really comfortable.
Parking
There is free parking at all my current venues.
Do I need to book?
Booking is essential and can be booked by email or over the phone.
I run weekly classes in 6 week blocks, Face 2 Face Classes are £7.50 per class. Any sessions you know in advance you are unable to attend please inform me at the beginning of each block and you can have a recorded class sent to you, so you do not have to miss your yoga. Or you will not be charged, if a recording wouldn’t work that week.  Any sessions missed during the block will be non-refundable. However, there may be an option to have a catch up session at an alternative class dependant on availability, or a recorded class will be available for you.

There are options to do a combination of studio and online classes at a reduced rate, enabling you to do more classes per week. I offer an initial taster session before signing up for the full block.
Payments can be made by bank transfers. Get in touch here.
I have never done yoga before. Can I still come to your workshops?
Absolutely. As with all my classes, I ensure that the workshops are designed in a way that they are accessible to everybody., regardless of age or ability. The workshops are run in a very relaxed way and you are encouraged to listen to your body throughout and to take breaks or slow down if you feel like it.

The workshops are advertised on my FB page and private FB group and via email.
